Snow Lion Mountain Resort lies close to the State Bank of India ATM in Lachung, a short walk from the Lachung Chu, and on a quiet night you hear the river from the rooms. Reviewers keep returning to the same points: polite, helpful hosts, decent internet by Lachung standards, and good food from the kitchen.
Rooms are plain and clean. Ask for an upper floor if you want a mountain view. Being near the ATM is useful because cards are not accepted everywhere in North Sikkim and the machine is sometimes out of cash: carry enough from Gangtok. Prices change by season; check current status before you travel.

Is there an ATM in Lachung?
Yes, the State Bank of India has a branch and ATM in Lachung, close to Snow Lion Mountain Resort. It can run out of cash in peak season or go offline with the network, so carry enough cash from Gangtok for tips, snacks, boots on rent at Yumthang and the Zero Point add-on. UPI works in many shops when the mobile network holds.
Does Snow Lion have Wi-Fi?
Guests report usable internet, which is better than many Lachung lodges. Treat it as a bonus rather than a promise: North Sikkim networks drop in bad weather and during power cuts. BSNL, Jio and Airtel all have some signal in Lachung village, but there is little or none at Yumthang and Zero Point.
