Choose your nationality and the places you want to see. We tell you, place by place, what is allowed, on what conditions, and what is closed to you. We arrange every permit through Sikkim Tourism-registered partners.

Permit rules by place
The short version. Every protected-area permit is issued only through Sikkim Tourism-registered agents, and we apply for you with ID and photos, usually a day ahead.

Children under 5 are not permitted in North Sikkim protected areas. Tourist vehicles must cross the Toong check post by 4:00 pm.
