Fortuna stands near the check post on the road out of Lachung towards Yumthang, which saves a few minutes on the morning drive. Rooms are simple but neat, and guests mention extra blankets on request and mountain views from the upper floors. It is a typical good Lachung mid-range hotel: no frills, warm enough, and meals served at fixed times in a dining hall.
Most package operators use Fortuna on value-tier North Sikkim trips. Do not confuse it with Delight The Fortuna Sapphire Resort, a separate, newer property in Lachung. If your quote says only Fortuna, ask which one. Rates move with season, so check current status before you travel.

Is Fortuna Lachung the same as Fortuna Sapphire Resort?
No. Fortuna Lachung is the older hotel near the police check post on the Yumthang road. Delight The Fortuna Sapphire Resort is a different, newer property in Lachung. Both appear in package quotes, often just as Fortuna, so ask your operator which one is booked. We name the exact hotel in every quote we send.
Are meals included at Fortuna in Lachung?
