Le Coxy stands at Fakha (also spelled Faka), the lower part of Lachung where many of the newer hotels have come up along the road. Guest reviews regularly mention clean, roomy rooms, heated mattresses and packed breakfasts for the pre-dawn run to Yumthang and Zero Point, which is the practical test of any Lachung hotel.
Because it is big, Le Coxy is a common upgrade in group and family packages, and it can feel busy on peak weekends in May and October. Ask for an upper-floor, valley-side room. Rates vary sharply between the rhododendron season, the October–November peak and the quiet monsoon. Check current status before you travel.

Where is Le Coxy Resort in Lachung?
It is at Fakha, on the road through lower Lachung, a few minutes by car from the bazaar. All Lachung hotels lie along the same valley road, so location matters less than room quality. From Le Coxy it is about 24 km and 1–1.5 hours to Yumthang Valley, and roughly another hour to Zero Point when the road is open.
Is Le Coxy good for families with children?
Yes for children over five, who are allowed in North Sikkim protected areas. Children under five are not permitted, so a Lachung trip is not possible with toddlers. For older children, Le Coxy's larger rooms, heated beds and buffet meals make it easier than small lodges. Pack warm caps, gloves and a thermos for the Yumthang morning.
What does a comfort package with Le Coxy cost?
As an indicative 2026 figure, a 2-night Lachung package from Gangtok with a private SUV, permits, Le Coxy and meals works out around ₹11,000–15,000 per person for two people sharing, more in May and October.
