Rangpo valley road drive
A drive along the Rangpo valley between Rangpo and Rorathang, with river views, small farms and the industrial belt that sits oddly beside paddy terraces.

Wikipedia says Rorathang and nearby areas host several pharmaceutical factories, which makes this valley one of Sikkim's industrial hubs. The contrast with paddy terraces and farm villages is striking.
The road between Rangpo and Rorathang follows the river about 12 km. Stop for tea and photographs only where drivers know it is safe.
Do not photograph factory gates or workers. Expect trucks and workers' buses. In the monsoon, check current status before you travel.
